I like to create staged situations onto my plates where one process can confront another. Most prints are printed off the paper leaving no margin. This allows for the print to sit as an object. I have an MA in Printmaking from Camberwell College of Arts, UAL. My specialism is in etching where I have researched the sculptural potential within printmaking. This has involved etching on materials such as steel, using different welding and metal cutting techniques to engrave onto metal and to re-examine how paper can be used as an object form in relation to its space. The work interplays linear abstraction, surface textures, structures and spaces. I am interested in exploring the links between visual abstraction and visual poetry.
